TEAMWORK , SENSITIVITY AND RESPONSIBILITY - CHRISTMAS EVENT LONGKHANH

I am showcasing the Longkhanh Christmas event which we taught our students an English performance for two weeks to dance with us on stage during the event. The event was divided into five activities: Introducing Santaclaus,  a wonderful dance performance, Christmas Quiz, a candy stocking game, and giving presents at the end. We had this event only for Longkhanh and We designed the game, and quiz beforehand to make it work well.



I had taken the overall responsibility to design the Game, Quiz, and performance. We taught the students a Christmas song for performing during the event and made some structure in English to make them understand the Christmas traditions and celebrations.

 Even though the idea was single-handed I grouped with the Longkhanh team to have perfect teamwork to arrange the materials for the game, and the projector for the quiz. I also took all my teachers in the kindergarten English team for support and divided the workload to manage the event properly as per plan.

1. Introducing and role play as Santa




I was roleplaying as a Santa and being hidden in a box as per the event as a surprise for the students. As we needed two MCs on stage. I also took the opportunity to deliver the content together with Ms. Thao on stage. The translation was made earlier by Ms. Ngan and given to me accordingly for delivery on that day. Students enjoyed the surprise visit of Santa and they were excited to hear from him.

2. A wonderful dance performance


We planned for all the kids to give a group performance. They enjoyed dancing with Santa. I was dancing the behind following each and every step. Once done with the performance I invited some kids to come and join the SANTA to perform the FELIZ NAVIDAD song which we practiced earlier. It went well as per plan. All the teachers loved the performance and singing along with the students as well.
                                                                                                                                                                      
 3. Christmas Quiz



I also planned to have a Christmas Quiz in the event with the Christmas Vocabularies in English which we taught them during our lessons. We designed the quiz challenging as per their levels. I worked with the Long Khanh team to get a projector in advance for this event. All went well with perfection, and I informed my team to support the PowerPoint with a screen accordingly. As a reward for the student, we gave the chocolates as a gift for each right answer.

 4. Candy stockings game



I designed the game and inform them to prepare the stockings with bowls and candies. It's a wonderful game that enhances teamwork and gross motor skill. It went well. All enjoyed it to the core. I really loved the students enjoying counting the chocolates at the end and celebrating their winning moment.

5. Giving presents and taking pictures   



At the end of the event, we gave some presents to the children and take a picture individually for showing to their parents. All our English team members were supportive of organizing this photo shoot in a well-mannered.

RESPONSIBILITY - TAP THE MAGIC TREE SUMMER PROGRAMME - JUNE 2022

We had a wonderful theme that was set by me in the English department for the kindergarten Level. All the students loved it and it came out really well. The lessons were really catchy and the outcome was the best out of all. We had an overall six weeks with 20 awesome activities.  I took the overall responsibility from start to end by working with the suppliers, managers, admins, staff, and teachers by coordinating and executing perfectly. It was a successful and memorable one where I got a lot of appreciation from the head of the departments and the principal. SELF DEVELOPMENT - SMART GOALS FOR TEACHERS - MAKE LEARNING FUN

 As we all know the Smart goal for a teacher should be optimizing class time. increasing student engagement and reinforcing the student vocabulary. I made my workout plan with students to find the gaps by finding out how to improve the student's progress through motivation and make learning fun through interactive games and activities. As I know the SMART goals involve S- specific, M- measurable, A- achievable, R- relevant, and T- timebound. S (Specific) - In the class, I have set a goal with a clear structure pattern and detailed aim for each level. you can see the sample I have listed below. M ( Measurable): I also handle the chicken and dolphin levels.
